Standup paddleboarding (SUP) got its roots in Hawaii as an alternative way to surf when there was little swell. Today paddleboarding has gone mainstream and is an amazing full-body workout that improves your core strength, cardio fitness, balance, and flexibility with virtually no impact. There are various modes of stand up paddling, including flat water paddling, fitness, or surfing on ocean waves, and even SUP Yoga.
